At DZ Nation, we did not simply want to take an iconic animal and place it on a garment.
We wanted to draw inspiration from its silhouette, its environment, and its colors to create several pieces, each with its own interpretation.
Why the Fennec Became an Obvious Choice for DZ Nation
Perfectly adapted to the harsh desert regions of North Africa, the fennec has unique characteristics that allow it to survive in this extreme environment.
But it was above all these distinctive features that caught our attention visually.

We wanted to create an Algeria-inspired jersey that could be worn like an official football shirt, while also working as an everyday piece beyond match days without losing its sporting energy.
The number 10 naturally reinforces its football identity, while the fennec gives the jersey a distinctive character of its own.

The inspiration remains the same as temperatures begin to drop.
