For some of this processing, Shopify acts as a separate controller. Where your consent is required, the processing concerned is subject to the choices you make using the privacy and consent management tools available on the site.

7. Payments

Payments made on DZ Nation are processed securely by Shopify and the various payment providers offered at checkout.

Depending on your country, your device and the methods available at the time of the transaction, the solutions offered may include: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Cartes Bancaires, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Klarna, PayPal, and other payment methods that may be available at checkout.

These providers may process the information needed to authorise, authenticate, secure, prevent fraud on and execute the transaction. Where you choose a third-party payment provider such as Klarna, PayPal or Apple Pay, certain data may also be processed directly by that provider in accordance with its own privacy policy.

DZ Nation neither receives nor stores your full bank card details. The payment methods actually available are shown at checkout and may vary depending on the country, the device used or conditions specific to the payment provider.

8. Manufacturing and order preparation

Certain DZ Nation products are made or printed to order by our production partners, notably Printful and Tapstitch.

Where necessary to fulfil your order, certain information may be passed to the partner responsible for its manufacture, preparation or dispatch. This may include:

• your name;
• your delivery address;
• the contact details needed to deliver the order;
• information about the products ordered.

Only the data necessary to perform their task is shared.

9. Delivery

The information needed to deliver your order may be passed to the carriers and logistics partners concerned. This may include:

• your phone number where necessary;
• the information enabling your parcel to be tracked.

This data is used to enable the delivery and tracking of your order.

10. Recipients of your data

DZ Nation does not sell your personal data for payment. Certain data may nevertheless be shared with the companies and providers necessary to run our business, notably:

• PayPal;

12. Retention periods

DZ Nation keeps your personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected and to comply with applicable legal obligations.

Data needed to manage an order is kept for the duration of the commercial relationship and then, where necessary, archived for the applicable legal periods. Invoices and data that must be kept under accounting obligations may be retained for 10 years.

Information about requests sent to customer service is kept for as long as necessary to handle and follow up the case. Customer account data is kept for as long as necessary to manage it, subject to applicable legal retention obligations.

Where data is used for marketing purposes, it is not kept indefinitely and is deleted or archived in accordance with the periods applicable to commercial relationships and prospecting.

13. Newsletter and commercial communications

DZ Nation does not currently offer a regular newsletter. If a newsletter or commercial communications service is set up later, the corresponding processing will comply with the rules applicable to electronic marketing.

Where your consent is required, it will be obtained before the communications concerned are sent. You will be able to unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in the communications or by contacting us. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before that withdrawal.

The DZ Nation site uses cookies and similar technologies.
